Minor Incident Bureau

Institutional file · established for trivial matters

About the Bureau

Minor Incident Bureau is a fictional records office for life’s least important emergencies. We document harmless everyday mishaps with an entirely unreasonable degree of administrative care.

The operating principle

Mundane event × disproportionate response

The Bureau’s voice is serious; the subject is not. The gap between those two things is the entire mechanism.

Step 01

Notice

Find a small, familiar deviation: forgotten coffee, delayed laundry, or a surprisingly successful password attempt.

Step 02

Classify

Give the event a case number, status, measured detail, and restrained administrative language.

Step 03

Review

Remove private, cruel, unsafe, copied, or misleading material before it becomes a Bureau record.

Step 04

File

Publish useful guides and selected records inside one coherent fictional archive.

Step 05

Issue

Adapt suitable original files into collectible products or personalized reports with truthful storefront labeling.

Charter MIB-E01

What every file must preserve

The fictional wrapper is consistent, but the trust rules are real and visible.

Harmless subjects

The Bureau handles low-stakes observations, not emergencies, accusations, private grievances, or real investigative work.

Original expression

We do not copy competitor illustrations, lightly rewrite someone else’s joke, or use unlicensed characters, logos, celebrity likenesses, or government marks.

Legible fiction

The Bureau may look administrative, but it identifies itself as an independent fictional entertainment brand rather than a public authority.

Transparent recommendations

Owned products, marketplace destinations, production partners, and future affiliate recommendations are labeled according to what they actually are.

Plain-language fiction notice

Official-looking, never officially affiliated.

Minor Incident Bureau, the Department of Minor Incidents, its case numbers, departments, forms, and Records Officer No. 17 are parts of a fictional brand world. The project is not affiliated with any government, regulator, police service, emergency service, court, employer, or professional investigative body. It does not provide legal, medical, safety, employment, or emergency advice.
